Day V

Remember, remember, the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason, and not a lot of plot going on...

Oh, that was so uncool. But funny.

So, yes, Nanowrimo update. It's all gone a bit Pete Tong. The first two days were absolutely brilliant. I did 3700 words on the 1st, 3200 on the second. That really impressed me as I'd been at work all day. Then, the following happened:

Day 3 - Fell asleep and scraped togather 1300
Day 4 - Went to see Muse* and wrote 0 words. Haha...
Day 5 - written 3000 words so far, but need to write another 5500 words by the end of the night to catch up.

That makes total word count 11100 (give or take), and right now, I'm supposed to be at 16700 if I want to make my goal of 100k. At this moment, I feel like Writer Cat (in the sidebar) looks. And I have officially flipped out.

Help. Why did I decide to do this?

*Muse were bloody amazing though. Matt Bellamy has a piano that lights up! I want one.

I hear you regarding self-imposed deadlines. I do contract writing for a living, now. I'm constantly just a step behind where I want to be...
